Celebration Sunday Worship

Celebration is one of three worshipping communities that comprise Harderwyk Ministries in Holland, MI. Dr William Lindner serves as Campus Pastor. With a "vibrantly classic" worship style marked by strong congregational singing and organ, Celebration encourages everyone to join in the journey of faith by being found in, formed by and following Jesus.

This Sunday at Celebration:
Called to Carry On
2 Timothy 3: 10-17

This Sunday, as we continue our sermon series through the book of 2 Timothy titled "The Handoff: Running Together."  Throughout this letter, Paul continues to encourage young Timothy as he seeks to lead the church in Ephesus.  In our text this week, Paul offers encouragement to remind Timothy that he is equipped with the gift of the Gospel of Jesus and the Holy Scriptures so that he might engage with others in the work of ministry.  We have these same gifts today.  How are we sharing this Gospel and teaching the scriptures?

Congregational Singing This Week:
Praise To The Lord The Almighty
Before The Throne Of God Above
Love Divine All Loves Excelling

Watershed Sunday Worship

Watershed is one of three worshipping communities that comprise Harderwyk Ministries in Holland, MI.
Rev. Aaron VanDerVeen serves as Campus Pastor. With a guitar-led modern worship style, Watershed encourages everyone to join in the journey of faith by being found in, formed by and following Jesus.

This Sunday at Watershed:
Jesus is the Template
2 Timothy 3:10-4:5

For some fifteen years, Timothy has shared life, privation, adventure, and ministry with Paul. Through those years and circumstances, he has been able to observe the fruit of the Spirit in a real human life, as well as the source of that fruit. Paul was not to be the pattern for the shape Timothy's own life by, but instead, Paul was a pattern of someone being found in, formed by and following Jesus - the only true and perfect template for human flourishing.

Grief Share

After the funeral, when the cards and flowers have stopped coming, most of the people around you return to their normal lives. But your grief continues, and you feel alone. We invite you to join GriefShare, a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life's most difficult experiences. In this 12-week faith-based class, we listen to others (video experts and testimonies); we listen to each other (sharing in small groups about how we can GROW forward); and we listen to God (guided by scriptures/workbook). Let us walk together through grief toward healing and hope for the future. A light supper will be provided. Cost $20 per person (workbook).

Moms in Prayer

Our vision is that every school in the world would be covered with prayer.

  • To stand in the gap for our children through prayer

  • To pray that our children will receive Jesus as Lord and Savior, then stand boldly in their faith

  • To pray for teachers and school staff

  • To pray that teachers, administrators, staff, and students would come to faith in Jesus Christ

  • To pray that our schools will be directed by biblical values and high moral standards

  • To be an encouragement and positive support to our schools

  • To provide support and encouragement to moms who carry heavy burdens for their children

This week at Fusion:
Call Out Corruption
2 Timothy 2:14-26

This Sunday, as we continue our sermon series through the book of 2 Timothy titled "The Handoff: Running Together."  Part of Paul's purpose in this final letter to Timothy is to offer guidance when dealing with corruption and false teachers.  This Sunday, we consider how these ancient, sacred words continue to guide Christ's church today.  How do we identify corruption, and how do we respond?  We will lean into the wisdom of God's word and explore together.

Navigating Pitfalls
2 Timothy 2:14-3:9

Sometimes we need the wisdom of others to help us know, not just what to do, but also what not to do. After offering Timothy encouragement, Paul now moves on to pointing out pitfalls that were prevalent in the community and how Timothy could navigate those. Thankfully, Paul’s wisdom is as meaningful today as it was then.

With a "vibrantly classic" worship style marked by strong congregational singing and organ, Celebration encourages everyone to join in the journey of faith by being found in, formed by and following Jesus.

This Week's Sermon Information:
Sermon: What "Strong Through Grace" Looks Like
Text: 2 Timothy 2:1, 22–3:5
Key Verse: 2 Timothy 3:5 - They will act religious, but they will reject the power that could make them godly. Stay away from people like that!
Sermon Snapshot: Paul writes to his friend and junior colleague with the encouragement to "Be Strong Through Grace" (2:1), but what does that look like? He follows the exhortation with a number illustrations, applications, warnings and encouragements meant to paint a bigger, more detailed picture in answer of that question. We will look at two of those - one positive and one negative - to see how the Gospel of God's Grace is the hope, not just for the church, but for all people.

Congregational Singing This Week:
A Mighty Fortress Is Our God
There Is A Redeemer
Christ For The World We Sing

Music Specials:
Harderwyk Handbells
Gift of Peace, Cynthia Dobrinski
God Be With You 'Til We Meet Again - LUYH #944

Prelude:
Meditation on "Ein Feste Burg" - Jean Drahmann
Variations on "St. Peter" - arr. Roy Brunner
Jane Bosko - Organ

Postlude:
